Govt. Millennium Polytechnic Chamba was established by the State Govt in year 2007 . Initially two diploma engineering courses in Electronics & Communication Engineering and Computer Engineering respectively were started with annual intake of 40 students each.   The duration of each engineering diploma course is three years to be covered in six semesters. The courses are approved from All India Council of Technical education (AICTE) and affiliated with HP Takniki Shiksha Board. The first batch from this institute passed out in June 2010. The Institute campus is being established on a total 52.5 bighas of land at Sarol.The Classes are being run in the newly built Administrative cum Academic building inaugurated by Hon'ble Chief minister on 31st july 2011
